Cap Cana presenting investment opportunities to European business leaders in Spain

Cap Cana Strengthens European Investment Drive With Spain Roadshow

Cap Cana, the master-planned resort and residential community on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic, has strengthened its international investment strategy with a series of promotional events in Spain aimed at attracting new European capital to its tourism and real estate developments.

Working alongside the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Spain, the destination hosted a business presentation attended by more than 150 entrepreneurs, developers, and investors interested in exploring opportunities linked to luxury tourism and high-end residential projects in the Caribbean.

European Market Remains a Strategic Priority

The event underscored Cap Cana’s efforts to expand its presence in one of Europe’s most important markets for international tourism and property investment. The initiative comes as the Dominican Republic continues to attract growing interest from foreign investors seeking opportunities in premium hospitality and residential developments.

Jorge Subero Medina, Executive President of Cap Cana, said the destination’s long-term growth strategy is supported by economic stability, legal certainty, and strong international connectivity—factors he described as key drivers of continued investor confidence.

Subero also highlighted the project’s urban planning model, noting that its long-term development strategy has created a solid foundation for future expansion while balancing luxury, sustainability, and diversified investment opportunities in response to changing global market trends.

Cap Cana Participates in SIMA 2026

As part of its agenda in Spain, Cap Cana also participated in SIMA 2026, one of Europe’s leading real estate exhibitions. During the event, company representatives introduced new development projects and held meetings with developers, investment funds, and strategic partners exploring opportunities to expand into the Caribbean.

The exhibition provided an additional platform to showcase the destination’s residential and tourism offerings while strengthening relationships with potential European investors.

Luxury Living and Sustainable Urban Development

During SIMA 2026, Subero joined the panel discussion “Luxury Living: Trends in Global Cities”, alongside Bruno Rabassa, Julio Iranzo, and Enrique López Granados, moderated by Verónica Carrillo.

The discussion focused on topics shaping today’s international real estate market, including sustainability, smart urban planning, connectivity, and integrated living experiences for both residents and visitors. Panelists also examined the growing demand for destinations that combine quality of life, security, and long-term investment potential.

Strengthening Cap Cana’s International Position

The Spain initiative allowed Cap Cana to reinforce its relationships with European investors while increasing its visibility within the global conversation surrounding luxury tourism destinations and large-scale mixed-use developments.

By expanding its international promotion efforts, the destination aims to further establish itself as one of the Caribbean’s leading tourism and real estate hubs, capitalizing on continued foreign investment interest in the Dominican Republic’s growing hospitality and property sectors.
