The first edition of Expo Inmobiliaria ACOSDE 2026 concluded with strong commercial results, generating approximately RD$1.578 billion in property sales over four days. Organized by the Association of Builders of Santo Domingo Este (ACOSDE), the event brought together developers, financial institutions, and prospective buyers, highlighting continued momentum in one of the Dominican Republic’s most active urban markets.

Held from May 14 to 17, 2026, the exhibition took place in the Alma Rosa I neighborhood of Santo Domingo Este, attracting hundreds of visitors interested in residential developments, commercial projects, and real estate investment opportunities.

Property Sales Exceed Expectations

According to the organizers, the event surpassed initial expectations by recording nearly RD$1.578 billion in transactions. The figures reflect sustained demand for formally developed housing and investment properties, while demonstrating the growing importance of Santo Domingo Este as a destination for real estate development.

Throughout the four-day exhibition, attendees explored a wide range of projects designed for homebuyers, investors, and businesses. The fair also promoted urban growth through developments aimed at expanding the municipality’s residential and commercial infrastructure.

Growing Confidence in Santo Domingo Este

The event showcased numerous real estate projects intended to support the municipality’s continued urban expansion. As one of the largest municipalities in the Greater Santo Domingo metropolitan area, Santo Domingo Este has experienced increasing residential construction and infrastructure investment in recent years, attracting both local buyers and private developers.

The strong turnout at the exhibition reflects continued confidence in the area’s property market and growing interest from families seeking new homes as well as investors looking for long-term opportunities.

Institutional Support and Corporate Participation

Riubell Montes de Oca, president of ACOSDE, thanked exhibitors, sponsors, and strategic partners for supporting the organization’s inaugural real estate fair. The event received institutional backing from the Santo Domingo Este City Hall and included the participation of military and police authorities, with the Municipal Police providing security throughout the exhibition.

The expo was supported by 11 companies and institutions, including Asociación Popular de Ahorros y Préstamos, Banco Popular Dominicano, Cementos Santo Domingo, the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (INDOTEL), Spazzola Store, Jardín Memorial, Ron Bermúdez, Cosmos Satélite, Mobiliapp, the Dominican Electricity Transmission Company (ETED), Vial Gas, and FAI Autos.

Positive Outlook for the Local Real Estate Market

The success of the first ACOSDE Expo Inmobiliaria highlights the continued expansion of Santo Domingo Este’s construction sector and reinforces the municipality’s growing role within the Dominican Republic’s real estate industry. Strong sales, broad institutional support, and significant participation from developers and financial institutions suggest that demand for new residential and commercial projects remains resilient.

For buyers, developers, and investors, the event serves as another indication that Santo Domingo Este continues to offer attractive opportunities as the metropolitan area’s property market evolves.
