EXPOKINGDOM 2026 is turning Acrópolis Center in Santo Domingo into a meeting point for Christian creativity and entrepreneurship, bringing together creators from fields including literature, photography, painting, sculpture, film, theater, music and design. The seven-day event combines exhibitions and entertainment with educational activities and personal testimonies.

The initiative was founded and produced by filmmaker Jesús Villanueva, who said the event is intended to create opportunities for creative entrepreneurs within the Christian community while promoting values centered on families and Christian culture. The program is supported by the Network of Christian Filmmakers and Audiovisual Producers (Recreac).

Art, Film And Literature At The Center Of The Program

Visitors can explore work by writers, photographers, painters, artisans, sculptors, actors, musicians, designers and filmmakers throughout the week. The opening program also featured Danny Ramírez Piantini, who presented the testimony documented in his book “30 Segundos en el Cielo”.

Literature is another part of the program. On Tuesday at 7 p.m., David Hiciano Mets will launch his book “Hasta que el dinero los separe.” The following day, Guarionex Alcántara will present the conference “Dominicano por la Gracia de Dios” at 10 a.m., followed by the community project “Vestidas de Gracia” at 5 p.m. A podcast titled “Rompiendo Esquemas” is scheduled for 8 p.m.

Thursday’s program will feature Nelson Rodríguez at 7 p.m. with “Cuando la esperanza casi se pierde.” On Friday, the event will shift toward live performance with a monologue show beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Workshops Add An Entrepreneurship Focus

The weekend program expands the event’s focus beyond artistic presentation. Saturday will include “Oratoria para Emprendedores,” a workshop led by Jefferson Rodríguez, and “Yo, la marca; yo, el producto; yo, la empresa,” presented by Basilio Guzmán.

Saturday evening will combine a conference with a dance festival, extending the event’s emphasis on creative expression while connecting it with practical skills for people developing their own ventures.

On Sunday, Nelson Rodríguez will lead “¿Cómo enfrentar los peligros de las redes sociales?” The program will conclude with the colloquium “La Iglesia como agente de cambio y transformación de vidas.”

Music And Family Activities

Music will run throughout the program, with performances from Gabriell Belliard, Claudia Galán, Carolina Díaz, Ramón Santana and Grisel Cedano, among other artists. The combination of music, dance, visual arts, books, film and educational sessions gives EXPOKINGDOM a broad cultural focus designed to accommodate different age groups.

By bringing creative work and entrepreneurship into the same venue, the event also provides a platform for Christian creators to present their projects directly to the public. Its programming is aimed at families, young people, artists and entrepreneurs interested in the intersection of creativity, culture and faith.
