Romeo Santos and Prince Royce performed before a sold-out audience at Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid, reaffirming their enduring musical chemistry as one of bachata’s most successful duos. The concert attracted a predominantly Latin American crowd and formed part of their joint Better Late Than Never tour.
The evening opened with the title track from their collaborative album, released in November 2025. Greeting the audience with enthusiasm, Santos thanked fans for their patience after waiting for hours to enter the venue before inviting them to sing, dance and enjoy the celebration.
A Setlist Blending Bachata Classics and New Collaborations
Backed by a 13-piece band and a backing vocalist, the two Bronx-born artists alternated between their solo hits and collaborative performances throughout the night. Songs including “Eres Mía,” “Te Robaré,” “Stand by Me,” and “Dardos”, one of their best-known collaborations from 2025, kept the audience singing along from start to finish.
Midway through the concert, both artists changed into more casual outfits before returning to the stage with the same high energy. Their choreography and interaction transformed the stadium into a giant open-air dance floor, reflecting bachata’s growing international appeal.
Urban Hits and a Tribute to Dominican Bachata
As night fell, Santos and Royce challenged each other in a friendly musical duel, testing whether the audience knew both their latest releases and their classic songs. The atmosphere shifted toward urban Latin music with performances of “Khé?,” “El Clavo,” “Sensualidad,” and “Noche de Sexo.”
During a toast to Latin America, fans waved flags from Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina and, most prominently, the Dominican Republic, widely recognized as the birthplace of bachata.
Royce’s performance of “Corazón Sin Cara” was followed by a tribute to Aventura, the group Romeo Santos fronted until 2011. One of the night’s standout moments came when the audience sang “Obsesión” almost entirely on its own, while a New York-inspired stage design featuring the Brooklyn Bridge, a subway station, Times Square and the Statue of Liberty paid homage to the artists’ hometown.
A Spectacular Finale Before the Tour Continues
The concert concluded with Santos driving an SUV onto the stage, with Royce in the passenger seat, as the pair performed their signature global hits “Darte un Beso” and “Propuesta Indecente.” The performance closed an evening that celebrated both the evolution of bachata and its Dominican heritage.
Madrid marked another major stop on the duo’s European tour, which has already visited Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. The tour will continue with upcoming performances in La Coruña on July 30, Tenerife on August 1 and Santander on August 2.
