Juan Luis Guerra Joins the Festival Presidente 2026 Lineup
Juan Luis Guerra has been confirmed as the fifth artist to perform at Festival Presidente 2026, reinforcing the lineup for the Dominican Republic's biggest music festival as it returns to Santo Domingo this December.
Juan Luis Guerra, one of the Dominican Republic’s most internationally acclaimed musicians, has been announced as the latest artist confirmed for Festival Presidente 2026, joining an expanding roster that already includes Don Omar, Beéle, Milly Quezada, and Dalvin La Melodía.
The announcement was made by Cervecería Nacional Dominicana through its Presidente beer brand, which has been unveiling performers for the festival on a daily basis ahead of the event’s highly anticipated return later this year.
A Landmark Dominican Music Event
Guerra’s addition strengthens a lineup that blends internationally recognized Latin artists with leading Dominican performers. A multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winner, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Latin music and one of the Dominican Republic’s foremost cultural ambassadors.
His participation brings the total number of confirmed performers to five, while organizers continue building anticipation by announcing additional artists in the days ahead.
Return to the Olympic Center
The 2026 edition of Festival Presidente will mark the event’s return to the Centro Olímpico Juan Pablo Duarte in Santo Domingo. The festival will be produced by SD Concerts with sponsorship from Scotiabank and Visa.
Organizers have also announced a new multi-stage format designed to offer audiences a broader entertainment experience while reinforcing the Dominican Republic’s reputation as a regional destination for major live events.

According to Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, Festival Presidente is part of the company’s broader investment strategy to support the country’s economic and cultural development. The event is expected to generate activity across sectors including hospitality, transportation, restaurants, retail, and the local entertainment industry.
Fabián Suárez, president of the company, said the festival represents more than a music event, describing it as a platform that creates economic opportunities while showcasing Dominican and Latin American talent to a wider international audience.

The organizers said the festival will include sustainability and social responsibility initiatives, featuring areas for local entrepreneurs, a diverse food offering, accessibility measures for attendees with disabilities, hydration stations, waste management programs, and enhanced security protocols designed to provide a safe and inclusive experience.

Festival organizers said official ticket sales will be announced in the coming days. Additional artists will continue to be revealed through the digital platforms of Presidente as preparations continue for one of the Dominican Republic’s most anticipated entertainment events of 2026.
