Blu Terrenas has officially launched The Golf Club Collection, a residential project designed around a nine-hole Par 3 golf course in El Portillo, Las Terrenas. The development is positioned as part of a larger sustainable urban community intended to combine luxury living, environmental stewardship, and long-term investment opportunities.

The project was presented during an event held at the Sunset Bar at Spirit of Terrenas, where developers welcomed business partners, investors, and guests to celebrate the launch and outline the vision for the new community.

Luxury Homes With Resort Amenities

According to the developers, The Golf Club Collection will include apartments and villas overlooking the golf course and the Caribbean Sea. The community is planned around a 5,000-square-meter clubhouse and will feature an extensive range of recreational facilities.

Planned amenities include paddle and racquetball courts, a cinema, sports bar, cigar club, virtual golf simulator, Teens Club, game lounge, swimming pools, and landscaped social spaces. The master plan also includes a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, further expanding the destination’s hospitality offering.

Focus on Sustainable Development

Oscar de Castro, Commercial Director of Blu Terrenas, said the project reflects the company’s commitment to combining exclusive residential living with environmental responsibility and community development.

Construction will be carried out in phases using eco-efficient building practices, carefully selected materials, and ongoing workforce training designed to support sustainability throughout the development process.

Investment and Community Impact

The developers estimate that Blu Terrenas will generate more than 5,000 direct and indirect jobs while contributing new public and community infrastructure to the area.

Planned facilities include a fire station, medical center, hospitality academy, 3D movie theaters, artisan market, and what is described as the Dominican Republic’s first museum dedicated to the country’s evolutionary history. The project also includes a free educational academy for young people aimed at supporting workforce development and community engagement.

Appealing to International Investors

Blu Terrenas is being marketed as an investment opportunity supported by incentives available under the Dominican Republic’s Confotur Law, which offers tax benefits for qualifying tourism developments.

Developers said two-bedroom apartments will start at US$269,000 and will include major household appliances. They also highlighted the Dominican Republic’s continued tourism growth, citing the country’s record of welcoming more than 11 million visitors, as a factor supporting long-term real estate demand.

With its combination of residential properties, hospitality facilities, recreational amenities, and community infrastructure, Blu Terrenas aims to strengthen Las Terrenas’ position as one of the Dominican Republic’s premier destinations for luxury tourism and real estate investment.
