BERA Motorcycles Opens Its First Dealership in the Dominican Republic
BERA Motorcycles has officially entered the Dominican Republic with the opening of its first dealership in Santo Domingo, strengthening the Venezuelan manufacturer's regional expansion strategy while introducing its motorcycle lineup and after-sales services to the local market.
BERA Motorcycles, one of Venezuela’s leading motorcycle manufacturers, has officially inaugurated its first dealership in the Dominican Republic. Located on Isabel Aguiar Avenue in Santo Domingo, the new facility marks the company’s entry into a market it considers strategic for its continued expansion across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The opening extends BERA’s international footprint, which already includes operations in Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Panama and Cuba. Company executives, business leaders and members of the media attended the inauguration, where guests toured the showroom, explored the motorcycle lineup and learned about the customer service model the company plans to introduce in the Dominican market.
Expansion Focused on the Dominican Market
Founded in Venezuela in 1997, BERA Motorcycles became the country’s first motorcycle assembler and has developed a portfolio of more than 30 models over its 29-year history. The Dominican Republic now becomes another key destination in the company’s regional growth strategy.
Georgeo Beirouti, BERA’s Director of International Business, said the company is entering the Dominican market with a proposal centered on innovation, technology and quality.
“We are arriving in the Dominican Republic with a proposal based on innovation, technology and quality, convinced that we will offer a competitive alternative for the country’s motorcyclists. We appreciate the warm welcome and take on this challenge with the responsibility of contributing to the development of the sector and building a lasting relationship with the Dominican people,” Beirouti said.
Long-Term Growth Strategy
Rafael Soler, the company’s official representative in the Dominican Republic, said BERA aims to establish itself through quality products, reliable technical service and competitive pricing.
“Our commitment is to provide excellent technical service, quality products and an accessible offering that builds consumer confidence. Our goal is to establish ourselves in the local market and position BERA Motorcycles among the country’s leading motorcycle brands in the short and medium term,” Soler said.
The opening also reflects the continued growth of the region’s Automotive Industry, as international manufacturers expand their presence in the Dominican Republic to meet rising demand for personal transportation and mobility solutions.
Community Outreach Marks the Launch
As part of the inauguration, BERA carried out its first corporate social responsibility initiative in the Dominican Republic by donating school supplies to children from the surrounding community. The activity reflects the company’s institutional philosophy, summarized by its motto, “Blessed to Bless.”
The ceremony concluded with a blessing of the new dealership led by Deacon Juan Rivas, who offered prayers for the company’s operations and its new chapter in the Dominican Republic. With the opening of its Santo Domingo location, BERA Motorcycles reinforces its commitment to expanding throughout the Caribbean while positioning the Dominican Republic as an important market in its regional development plans.
