Geely Auto Group continued its strong global momentum in July after reporting sales of 250,161 vehicles, extending its streak to five consecutive months of both year-over-year and month-over-month growth. The results highlight the company’s continued expansion as demand for electrified vehicles increases and its international presence strengthens.

New energy vehicles (NEVs) remained the main driver of growth, with combined sales reaching 160,165 units, representing a 23% increase compared with the same month last year. The figures reflect the company’s ongoing transition toward electrified mobility and its broader strategy to expand its portfolio of electric and hybrid vehicles.

International Sales Reach a New Monthly Record

Outside mainland China, Geely Auto Group achieved another milestone by recording its highest monthly international sales to date. The company sold 106,663 vehicles across overseas markets during July, underscoring the growing role of global operations in its overall business.

Exports rose by 202% year over year, while exports of new energy vehicles climbed to 62,604 units, a remarkable 616% increase from the previous year. The results suggest that international demand for Geely’s electrified lineup continues to expand as more markets adopt low-emission mobility solutions.

Investment in Intelligent Mobility

Alongside its commercial performance, Geely Auto Group announced the creation of the 2030 Lab, a research initiative designed to accelerate the development of technologies that will support the company’s long-term intelligent mobility strategy.

The new laboratory will focus on vehicle safety, digital chassis technology, data science, artificial intelligence, connectivity, and other advanced technologies intended to improve vehicle performance and the driving experience. The company also confirmed that it will continue expanding its electrification roadmap, including hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) technologies and next-generation hybrid systems.

Preparing for the Paris Motor Show

Geely Auto Group is also preparing to showcase its latest products and technologies at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, where it plans to present its global vehicle lineup, advanced mobility technologies, and progress in international expansion.

The July performance reinforces Geely’s position as one of the automotive industry’s fastest-growing global manufacturers, supported by continued investment in innovation, electrification, and international markets. For customers in the Dominican Republic, the company’s sustained global growth reflects its long-term commitment to developing safer, smarter, and more efficient mobility solutions as the brand continues expanding its presence worldwide.
