Costa Rica established control early, scoring four unanswered goals in the opening quarter while keeping the Dominican offense off the scoreboard. The visitors extended their advantage in the second period and entered halftime firmly in command of the match.

The Dominican Republic showed greater attacking intent after the break, but Costa Rica continued to capitalize on its offensive opportunities to secure a comfortable victory.
Jhon Burke led the Dominican attack with four goals, while Alfred José and Noah Castillo each added one goal.
For Costa Rica, Johansy Rivas delivered the standout performance with six goals. Josthin Quesada and Saymon Rosales each contributed four goals to the winning effort.
