Banreservas Earns Seven Honors at Effie Awards Dominican Republic 2026
Banreservas received seven awards at the seventh edition of the Effie Awards Dominican Republic, with campaigns spanning banking, influencer marketing, media innovation, and support for small businesses recognized for their effectiveness.
Banreservas, the Dominican Republic’s largest state-owned bank, secured seven awards at the Effie Awards Dominican Republic 2026, one of the country’s leading competitions recognizing the most effective marketing and communication campaigns.
The bank received two gold awards. The first went to the “The Power of a Rumor” campaign for Credimás, which won in the Influencer Marketing category and was developed by Switch Havas. The second gold recognized the “Worth It” campaign for Expohogar Banreservas, created by Outstanding, which claimed the top prize in the Finance & Banking category.
Multiple Campaigns Recognized Across Key Categories
Banreservas also earned three silver awards in the Finance & Banking and Media Content Partnerships categories. The campaign “The Power of a Rumor” received two silver trophies, while “Clear Accounts” was also recognized for the effectiveness of its communication strategy and audience impact.
The institution added two bronze awards to its total. One honored the campaign “How Expo Fomenta Pymes BR Became the Platform for Dominican SMEs“, developed by Dentsu Dominicana and recognized in the Sustained Success category. The other went to “The Idea That Moved More People”, an Expomóvil Banreservas campaign created by Switch Havas that won in the Media Innovation category for emerging and existing channels.
Award Ceremony Highlights Marketing Excellence
The awards were accepted by Alieska Díaz, Senior Executive Vice President for Administration, and Yubelkis Ramírez, Vice President of Marketing, during the ceremony organized by the Dominican Association of Commercial Communication Companies (ADECC).
The 2026 edition recognized advertising and communication campaigns developed between January and December 2025. More than 150 professionals from the advertising, marketing, and communications industries participated as jurors, evaluating entries through a multidisciplinary review process to determine the year’s most effective campaigns.
Effie Awards are internationally recognized for measuring marketing effectiveness rather than creativity alone, making the recognition significant for companies seeking to demonstrate measurable business and communication results. For Banreservas, the awards reinforce the bank’s growing emphasis on marketing strategies designed to strengthen customer engagement and brand positioning in the Dominican financial sector.
